For this unique concert, piano students from Cambridge Suzuki Young Musicians (CSYM) ages 4-13, perform a programme of solo piano works that ranges from simple beginning pieces, through to Baroque and classical works, through to more adventurous contemporary works, including music by Graham Fitkin, Gyorgy Kurtag, Christian Mason, and Gerard Pesson.

The two pieces by Christian Mason on the programme were played this April, by two CSYM students in the ‘Brin d’Herbe” International piano competition in Orleans. CSYM has invited the eminent composer Graham Fitkin to write a new work for two pianos, and two percussionists, to be premiered by CSYM in July 2020.

This concert is free and is open to members of the public. Tickets are not required.
