Steve Reich rediscovered the potential of rhythm – and the energy, invention and vibrant emotional power of his music has touched every aspect of modern culture. The Colin Currie Group electrified Saffron Hall when they performed here in 2015; today, Colin leads a crack team of percussionists in three ground- breaking, life-affirming modern classics by a composer that simply everybody needs to hear.
This concert is due to finish at approximately 9.20pm and there will be a 20 minute interval.
