Courtney Pine

Presented by Saffron Hall

Courtney Pine

We’re thrilled to welcome the reigning king of British jazz saxophone back to Saffron Hall. He will be playing music from his new album, Black Notes From The Deep, which features another British music icon of equal repute, Courtney’s Freestyle Records label mate; Omar Lyefook MBE. When Pine takes to the stage you know to expect superlative playing and the kind of sudden, unexpected beauty that pierces straight to the heart. For once, the words ‘living legend’ aren’t an overstatement.

This concert is due to end at approximately 9.20pm and there will be 20 minute interval.
