Czech National Symphony Orchestra

Presented by Saffron Hall

Czech National Symphony Orchestra

A quiet hymn, a flurry of birdsong, and Dvořák’s Eighth Symphony is on its way. Maybe it’s the lilt of the rhythms, or the sound of those Bohemian woodwinds, but there’s always something magical about hearing a Czech orchestra play Czech music. Smetana’s comedy overture makes a sparkling opener, and to hear Jennifer Pike in Bruch’s hugely-popular concerto makes this concert unmissable!
