Baritone Gerald Finley is loved by audiences both as a superlatively nuanced musician and as an uninhibited, big-hearted entertainer. He has frequently collaborated with the Royal Opera’s Music Director Sir Antonio Pappano, and now these two towering musicians join forces once again. This unmissable evening of song ranges from the intense, exquisite intimacy of Lieder by Beethoven to the Neapolitan exuberance of ballads by Tosti, and is part of Saffron Hall’s year-long focus on the great voices of our time.

This concert will finish at approximately 9.40pm
