In a career spanning more than 50 years, legendary Norwegian saxophonist and composer Jan Garbarek has been one of the defining and most influential musicians of European jazz. From his groundbreaking ECM recordings to a myriad touring history, Garbarek is incessantly composing new music and still striving at age 72 for new musical experiences. In his own words, his creative work is a “rolling thing”, so together with his group of awe-inspiring jazz artists, Jan will perform a 120 minute unbroken set of pure artistry.
This event will finish at approximately 9.30pm. There will be no interval during this performance.
