Knights, giants, minstrels and mermaids, oceans and rivers, castles and caves are the inspiration for music from Mendelssohn, Rimsky-Korsakov, Smetana and others. James tells the stories and then he and Antonio will paint, capturing the mystery of the legends, while the orchestra plays.

At the end of the concert, James’ paintings will be raffled on stage, raising funds for the Saffron Centre for Young Musicians bursary set up in memory of Louise Turner, to give disadvantaged children a chance to learn to play a musical instrument and enjoy everything that music brings.
