Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment: Christmas Oratorio
Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment: Christmas OratorioPresented by Saffron Hall
Jauchzet, frohlocket, auf, preiset die Tage – Celebrate, rejoice, rise up and praise these days! And when the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment’s trumpets blaze out, and the Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge shouts with joy, you’ll know that the festive season has truly arrived. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio is so inspired that you don’t need to be a believer to respond to it. Refresh your spirit this Christmas.
This concert will finish at 9.50pm.
Orchestras for all: new ticket pricing scheme
Many of Saffron Hall's concerts, even ones that sell out, lose money.
In order to maintain our programme of orchestras from around the world we are asking those who can afford more to pay an amount that reflects the true cost of their attendance.
When you book top priced tickets online for orchestral concerts (such as this one) you will be given the opportunity to pay this new price. Please select the ‘Orchestras for all’ price type from the drop down menu.
This is completely optional and the additional support this provides will allow us to keep the arts accessible across the region. Your help is very much appreciated.
