Orphy Robinson presents: Van Morrison’s Astral Weeks

Orphy Robinson presents: Van Morrison’s Astral Weeks

Presented by Saffron Hall

Orphy Robinson

This concert celebrates Van Morrison’s masterpiece Astral Weeks, released 50 years ago, in November 1968. Jazz FM ‘Live Experience of the Year’ Award-winner Orphy Robinson brings together some of the UK’s top jazz players to reinterpret the magical combination of jazz, folk and soul influences that made up Astral Weeks, with the vocals sung by the great Sarah Jane Morris, who’s best known for her work with The Communards on songs like Don’t Leave Me This Way.

Our freshly made pre-show Deli Boxes are available to order for this event. Click here for more information.

This concert is part of the Cambridge International Jazz Festival.
