The Perse School’s senior ensembles return to Saffron Hall for a varied and vibrant evening of music. Symphonic repertoire in the first half includes Mendelssohn’s overture The Hebrides, Márquez’s Danzón No.2, and movements from Elgar’s Cello Concerto and Hummel’s Fantasie for Viola and Orchestra. A choral second half features Monteverdi’s Beatus Vir and Vivaldi’s much-loved Gloria.
