Richard Uttley in Recital

Richard Uttley in Recital

Presented by Saffron Hall

Richard Uttley

Richard Uttley isn’t your usual young piano virtuoso, and this isn’t your usual piano recital. Scriabin’s blazing, ecstatic Fourth Sonata is the heart of the programme; around it Richard explores the whole history of piano music, whether the timeless beauty of Scarlatti and Bach and Chopin’s stormy romance, or something completely new, specially written for him by Francisco Coll. This is not just a concert: it’s a sonic adventure.

Richard is a YCAT artist (Young Classical Artists Trust). To find out more about YCAT click here.

Following the recital enjoy a tea, coffee or sherry with the artist in the foyer.

Supported by CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust

Free tickets for 8 - 25 year olds are available for this concert. These tickets can be purchased from the box office on the day of the concert, from 1 hour before the performance begins.
