Saffron Opera GroupPresented by Saffron Hall
After the dazzling success of last year’s Die Meistersinger (‘a triumph’ Opera Magazine; ‘wonderful’ The Wagner Society), the Saffron Opera Group presents an in-concert performance of Stravinsky’s witty tragi-comedy The Rake’s Progress. A dangerous pact with the devil, a brave heroine who risks all, and a hilarious bearded lady, are all elements of this brilliant Mozartian-with-a-twist masterpiece, delivered here by a stellar cast.
This concert will finish at approximately 5.40pm
