Tenderness, melting melodies, and a haunting strain of bittersweet nostalgia link the items in this glorious concert of English music from Saffron Walden Symphony Orchestra. The ever-popular Enigma Variations (which include the sublimely heartbreaking variation ‘Nimrod’) are partnered with several equally beautiful pastoral gems, including Moeran’s Lonely Waters, an evocative masterpiece of restrained melancholy based on a lilting Norfolk folk-tune.

This concert will finish at approximately 9.10pm

To book a wheelchair space or if you have any access requirements please phone the Box Office.

The free minibus service between Audley End Station and Saffron Hall will not be in operation for this event.
