The English Concert

The English Concert

Presented by Saffron Hall

The English Concert

The high baroque era was an age of limitless musical possibilities – of brilliant innovations, virtuoso reworks, and music of electrifying theatricality and grandeur. Harry Bicket and The English Concert celebrate all that splendour in a concert that embraces the London stage, the glitter of 18th-century Venice and the timeless beauty of Johann Sebastian Bach: including the orchestral arrangement of his famous Air on the G string.
