“An ideal mix of transparency, precision and buoyancy” was how one critic described the playing of the Jubilee Quartet – before adding “crucially, too, it made me smile”. This young British quartet conveys the joy of shared music- making in everything they play: with Mozart’s timeless grace balanced by the understated sensuality of Ravel’s exquisite String Quartet, this is a concert to light up a December afternoon.
