Gloria! On a February evening, who wouldn’t love a blast of the sunlight, the splendour and the sheer sonic majesty of Vivaldi’s best-loved sacred masterpiece? Harry Christophers and The Sixteen play Vivaldi with unparalleled verve; first, though, enjoy the grandeur, pageantry and spiritual power of rediscovered masterpieces - both sacred and profane - by George Frederic Handel and Johann Sebastian Bach.
