Triorca International Youth Orchestra

Triorca International Youth Orchestra

Presented by Saffron Hall

Triorca is a well-established international orchestra born from the intense twinning history between three lovely European city regions: Novi Sad (second city of Serbia), Koblenz (on the Rhine), and Norwich (& Norfolk). Under the charismatic baton of Nicholas Daniel, winner of the Queens Medal for Music in 2012, some of the most talented, aspiring young musicians from across Europe meld a unique, 'live' orchestral sound - comprising technical fluency, attack, and freedom of line.

They are joined by rising star, Julia Hwang -'a model of expressive purity' (Rob Cowan, Gramophone); 'stunning' (In Tune, Radio 3) - in the Korngold Violin Concerto. Julia premiered this work earlier this year in Korea, while studying at the Royal College of Music - having graduated from Cambridge.

This concert is due to finish at approximately 10pm and there will be a 20-minute interval.
