Musical resources for local Primary Schools from world-class artists
Saffron Sounds is set of online resources for primary schools created by world-class artists and presented by Saffron Hall. Resources are created with the objectives of stimulating music making, listening, discussion and creativity in the primary school classroom, introducing pupils to a wide range of musical experiences, and providing teachers with resources and tools to support curriculum delivery.
This year’s Saffron Sounds theme is Earworms – inspired by recorder player Tabea Debus’ album Ohrwurm. Participating artists include Tabea Debus, Voces8, Dan Forshaw, Joanna Eden, and A4 Brass. We hope to launch the Saffron Sounds to schools at the start of the Spring Term.
