The Old English Gentleman
With a cosy open fire in winter, this traditional nineteenth century pub is a delight in the centre of Saffron Walden, serving hearty meals and a wide range of ales.

Meze Restaurant
Called ‘Maze’ during the day, this friendly café/restaurant in Saffron Walden’s market place transforms by night into ‘Meze’, and dishes up excellent Turkish cuisine.

The Cross Keys
This boutique hotel is housed in a restored building whose origin dates back 850 years. The Cross Keys is on Saffron Walden’s High Street.

The Crown House
Set in tranquil gardens in nearby Great Chesterford, The Crown House’s main building was built in Tudor times. Today the hotel offers a warm welcome and a luxurious stay.
