The prolific and high-profile writer juggles books, TV series, films, plays and journalism with huge popular success.

His latest book, is the latest in the Susan Ryeland series, dramatised on Britbox. His Alex Rider teen spy series has sold a staggering 21 million copies and he has been commissioned to write new novels to continue the James Bond and Sherlock Holmes series, as well as having created the dramas Midsomer Murders and Foyle’s War. He reflects on his writing career in conversation with broadcaster and author Matt Stadlen.
