Bill Laurance plus support James Heather

Bill Laurance plus support James Heather

Presented by Saffron Hall

Bill Laurance

“If jazz is to continue to appeal to future generations then it needs people like Bill Laurance to renew its relevance” said Jazz Journal, and in 2014 Laurance’s debut solo album went straight to the top of the jazz charts. Now the Snarky Puppy keyboard player continues his musical explorations: creating and playing contemporary music that blends grit, groove and feel-good funk to create a sonic landscape that’s simultaneously undefinable, and pure Bill Laurance. Ninja Tune affiliated pianist James Heather will play an opening set that complements Bill Laurance’s performance.
