Cambridge University Symphony Chorus and East Anglia Chamber Orchestra, conducted by David Young, perform Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem, at Saffron Hall. This large-scale work for chorus, orchestra, soprano and baritone soloists, includes seven movements and was composed by Brahms between 1865 and 1868.

Conductor David Young is the Musical Director of Cambridge University Symphony Chorus (CUSC), Chorus Director of Ireland’s Symphony Orchestra and Musical Director of Musarc. In April 2024, he and CUSC travelled to Helsinki to perform Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius, where the concert was broadcast live on national TV and radio.
