Open to all singers (aged 16 and over). We’re delighted to invite you to join members of Saffron Walden Choral Society to sing selected choruses from Handel: The Messiah. The workshops will be led by Quintin Beer and accompanied by Richard Carr. It will be a fun and enjoyable day in the wonderful setting of Saffron Hall. Participants aged 16-18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tea and coffee will be provided, but please bring your own lunch. If you need to borrow a score, please tick the relevant box when you book.

The day will end with an informal concert at 4pm to which friends and family are invited. Guests will need to book tickets for this concert which will be available closer to the date of the workshop.

The timetable for the day is:

9.30 - 10.00 Registration (and coffee/tea available in the Sixth Form Centre*)
10.00 - 11.30 Session 1
11.30 - 12.00 Coffee/tea break
12.00 - 13.00 Session 2
13.00 - 14.00 Lunch (participants to bring own food; tea / coffee provided)
14.00 - 15.30 Session 3
15,30 - 16.00 Coffee/tea break for participants; and audience admitted to Hall
16.00 - 17.00 Informal concert (bookable closer to the date of the workshop)

*Only water is allowed in the Hall. Tea/coffee/food must be consumed in the Sixth Form Centre only.

We are unable to allow any bags into the performance space which are larger than a hand bag or small backpack. Unfortunately our cloakroom will not be in operation.
