Cory Band

Cory Band

Presented by Saffron Hall

World-class brass. Internationally recognised as one of our leading ensembles, a Cory concert features blockbusting and beautiful music performed with a freshness, vitality and dazzling technical brilliance. Proud of their roots – they hail from Treorchy in the Welsh valleys – they are unafraid to step out of the traditional brass band genre and come with a reputation for breaking new ground in the brass world.

Cory have a history dating back to the late nineteenth century and remain as passionate as ever about performing to the highest possible standards; under conductor Philip Harper they have an enviable record success in competitions at home and abroad, and have won four of the last nine UK Championships at the Royal Albert Hall.
