Max the Brave
Max the BravePresented by Saffron Hall

Britten Sinfonia’s musical performances for families and young children capture the magic of the moment when you open a beloved book to the very first page and dive into the world of your favourite story. Seamlessly integrating projected live drawing from author and illustrator Ed Vere with choreographed musical performance and dramatic lighting, Max the Brave bursts onto the stage, sweeping audiences along on a tide of adventure and discovery.
Max is a kitten and he’s ever so brave. He’s so very brave that he chases MICE! …. Does anyone know what a mouse looks like? Max doesn’t?
He boldly sets off on a musical adventure to discover what, exactly, a mouse is …. Along the way he’ll encounter animals big and small, music beautiful and bold, instruments in ones, twos and crowds. Are you brave enough to join Max on his musical adventure?
Featuring dynamic performances, acting and storytelling from the musicians of Britten Sinfonia, Max the Brave brings Ed Vere’s beloved children’s picture book to life through music, live-illustration and audience interaction.
