Saffron Walden Choral Society

Presented by Saffron Hall

Saffron Walden Choral Society performing a Requiem

SWCS mark the centenary of the end of WW1 in a concert of German, French and British works. Brahms’ German Requiem, with its emphasis on comforting those who mourn, joins Boulanger’s haunting funeral music and Butterworth’s pastoral orchestral rhapsody in this commemoration of peace.
