Saffron Walden Symphony Orchestra present a colour-inspired programme. Gershwin’s evergreen Rhapsody in Blue, played by Jill Morton, is at the centre of the programme which opens with Torke’s energetic Bright Blue Music, followed by Butterworth’s pastoral tone picture. The second half features a rare performance of Bliss’s masterful Colour Symphony.
