Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Presented by SWCHS

For the first time in its history, Saffron Walden County High will present a Stephen Sondheim musical. “Sweeney Todd- the Demon Barber of Fleet Street”, the acclaimed Musical Thriller, aims to move and chill its audience in equal measure and is regarded as one of the most challenging musicals ever to grace a stage.

A huge cast and creative team will convey the poignancy of a story of loss and revenge, as well as embracing the intrinsic black humour of the piece. Set in the present day, this contemporary reworking of Sondheim’s greatest work promises to be an unforgettable evening.
