The English Concert

The English Concert

Presented by Saffron Hall

English Concert.

Grand emotions, sumptuous decoration and lavish ceremonial: the baroque era did everything in style. This concert sweeps from the bustling life of JS Bach’s Leipzig to the domestic pleasures of Telemann’s Hamburg, with CPE Bach as our guide on a quick detour to the Court of Frederick the Great. Expect sparkling colours and virtuoso playing from Rachel Podger and The English Consort – making a keenly-awaited return to Saffron Hall.

This concert will finish at approximately 9.10pm
