The Sixteen: Handel's Messiah

The Sixteen: Handel's Messiah

Presented by Saffron Hall

The Sixteen gathered on and around a staircase during a photoshoot.

The Sixteen and their director Harry Christophers return to Saffron Hall with a work that has become a staple of the Christmas calendar: Handel’s Messiah.

In music at once joyous and profound, Handel’s Messiah has come to represent the celebration of the Christmas story in the wider context of Christ’s life and death, from solo arias performed by exceptional soloists, to the majesty of the ‘Hallelujah’ chorus.
