Vikingur Ólafsson is a natural communicator both on and off stage. His combination of musicianship, versatility and deeply thoughtful programming make his solo recitals invigorating, often revelatory events.

In demand at all the major concert halls of the world, he follows his captivating debut at Saffron Hall 2 years ago with a programme that demonstrates his passion for combining music of different eras in one thought-provoking continuum. In an 80-minute unbroken sequence he links a chain of Beethoven sonatas embroidered with Bach and Schubert - a fascinating combination of three musical innovators and giants of the keyboard presented one of today’s great performers and most original thinkers.
